Mill Features
1. Small working roll diameter provides large rolling pass screw down force and small rolling force, so the rolling efficiency is high with low consumption, which saves production time and costs.
2. It can roll extremely-thin strips and difficult-to-process alloy plates and strips.
3. Light working roll can use the high hardness special alloy material economically.
4. Without bearing and bearing chock, the work rolls can be easily and quickly replaced.
5. Work roll regrind is easy and larger scope of use.
6. It sets a tapered end and axially-adjustable intermediate roll between work roll and backup roll, and takes the advantage of the shape control of the rolling mill, namely effectively control the strip plate shape. For different strip width, the intermediate rolls can be adjusted axially and keep the flat roll part inside the edge of the strip, thus eliminates possible detrimental effects on the contact surfaces and avoid excessive deflection of the work rolls, which can reduce edge wave sand and ensure to obtain excellent strip shape successfully.
