Tandem rolling mill features and advantages:
1. High productivity: Strips is rolled continuously through multiple stands without except for work roll changing. In comparison, reversing mills require each coil to pause for loading, unloading, threading and reverse rolling on each stage, which result in lower production efficiency.
2. High yield. The tandem rolling mill can roll the whole coil from the beginning to the end , including the weld seam of the connected two coils, under the action of a fully automatic thickness control system to ensure the yield. Improve the target tolerance control of the reversible rolling mill in the head and tail rolling, and improve the finished product rate of the strip;
3. Low energy consumption. Compared with the single-stand reversing mill, the tandem rolling do not need several high-power uncoilers and recoilers, and the power consumption is greatly reduced. Save the user's investment and operating costs at maximum extent, and the consumption per ton is reduced to 25% of the reversing mill.
